Ali McKeown

Born and raised in Chico, Ali started dancing at age 2 and was an integral member of our Fusion Dance Co. for 10 years. Dance has always been her passion, and teaching allows her to continue this passion. She loves watching her students grow and discover their own love of dance. Being able to support and encourage young dancers in their journey brings her so much joy!

Having honed her skills at Hype as an apprentice teacher, Ali has acquired the experience and knowledge to excel as one of Hype’s exceptional dance teachers and choreographers. She has been trained in a diverse array of genres, including jazz, hip hop, ballet, contemporary, lyrical, acro, and tap; jazz and tap being her favorite!

Throughout her dance career, Ali has received numerous awards and scholarships at national and regional competitions and has attended master classes led by distinguished, professional choreographers, earning significant recognition and awards for her technique and choreography.

In addition to her dance dance career, she has also been working hard to become a licensed Respiratory Therapist! She will be graduating in December from Boise State University’s Respiratory Care program!
